Which verbs does Verbify cover?

Verbify focuses on 120 key irregular verbs in Spanish, selected for practice from essential verbs to more advanced vocabulary. The verb library shows the collection and its conjugation tables. It is not an exhaustive list of Spanish irregular verbs.

Who is Verbify for?

Intermediate and advanced learners who understand Spanish grammar and want faster recall of irregular verb forms. You type conjugations from memory and get feedback on accuracy and response time. Use it alongside your lessons and conversation practice.

I did not get my sign-in code

Codes come from hello@verbify.co.uk and arrive within a minute or so. If nothing turns up, check your spam folder, then request another — there is a short wait between requests to stop the same address being spammed. A code is valid for one hour and can only be used once.

Do I need an account?

No. Practice works fully offline without one, and your progress is saved on the device. An account adds syncing between devices, a streak that survives reinstalling, and the daily leaderboard.

My practice did not sync

Finished sessions are saved on your device first and sent when there is a connection, so nothing is lost if you practise on a train. If a session has not gone through, Settings shows how many are waiting and lets you retry.

Why was my answer marked wrong when only an accent was missing?

Accents are part of Spanish spelling — sé and se are different words — so an accent-only slip is never counted as a correct answer. Verbify tells you it was an accent rather than just marking it wrong, and shows the form you were after. For example, oí needs the accent on the í.

By default it still earns part credit towards mastery, because you did recall the form. If you would rather an accent counted for nothing, turn on Expert accents in Settings. The daily challenge has a separate leaderboard for each mode, so scores are only ever compared with others graded the same way.

Why can’t I choose my own leaderboard name?

Verbify picks it for you — something like GoldenKestrel — from a fixed list of words. The leaderboard is shown to strangers, some of them young, and a box anyone can type into eventually has something in it that nobody wants to read. Filtering that reliably in two languages is not a thing we can promise, so the box is gone instead. Tap Give me another in Settings as often as you like.

If you had chosen a name before this change, it has been replaced — including on past leaderboards. Nothing else about your account or your scores was affected.

Can I practise Latin American Spanish only?

Yes. Choose Latin America during setup or in Settings, and vosotros forms will never appear. The daily challenge never uses them either, so nobody is ranked on a form they do not use.

How do I delete my account?

Settings, then Delete my account. It removes your practice history, mastery, streaks, leaderboard entries and sign-in identity. It cannot be undone. If you cannot get into the app, email us from the address on the account and we will do it for you.

Something is hard to use

Verbify has settings for holding on a correction rather than moving straight on, and for hiding response times if a visible timer is unhelpful. Speed still counts towards mastery, it just is not shown. If something is awkward with a screen reader or at a larger text size, tell us — that is a bug, not a preference.
